In a significant development for Ebonyi State, Governor Francis Nwifuru administered the oath of office to 35 newly appointed Commissioners, along with the Chief of Staff, Professor Emmanuel Echiegu, Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer Timothy Nwachi, as well as several Senior Assistants, Special Assistants, and Personal Assistants. During the ceremony, the Governor urged the appointees to bring innovation and strategic thinking to their roles.
Governor Nwifuru emphasized that these appointments were not mere political patronage, sternly warning that his administration would not tolerate any form of indolence. He called upon the newly sworn-in officials to join forces with him in the transformation of the State, stressing the need for dedication and accountability.
