The Governor emphasized the State Government’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of lawful traders while cracking down on criminal elements that have plagued the area.

Governor Otti made these declarations during an impromptu visit to the Lokpanta Cattle Market, situated along the Enugu-Umuahia-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway, while returning from a private engagement in Enugu State. His visit aimed to inspect the progress of the ongoing perimeter fencing project, designed to enhance security within the market, previously notorious for harboring perpetrators of violent crimes, including kidnappings.
