Nigeria records 373 new Covid-19 cases, total now 48,116

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 373 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 48, 116 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading the pack with 69 cases, while Osun State trailed with 41 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Tuesday, August 13, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 34, 309 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 966 deaths so far.
