Gunmen who kidnapped the proprietor of Excel Grace Secondary School, Akaajime, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, Pastor Emmanuel Apeh, on Friday night have demanded N10m for his release.

It was gathered that the hoodlums abducted ‎Apeh during a church programme and whisked him away on a motorbike.

The kidnappers had pretended to be worshippers when they arrived at the church.

‎An eye witness, who did not disclose his identity, said, “They stormed the church around Mkar-Katsina/Ala road, Gboko, at about 8:00 pm.

“After the programme they trailed Paster Apeh to his car, shooting sporadically to scare people away and  immediately took him away on a motorbike to an unknown destination.
