PDP governors demand free and fair election in Edo

0

‎Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party have asked President Muhammadu Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure a free, fair and credible governorship election in Edo State.‎

The election is slated for September 19, 2020.

The PDP governors made the demand in communique issued at the end of a virtual meeting.

In the communique released by chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, they insisted that security agencies and INEC must not take sides during the election.

They equally called for a credible election in Ondo State.

The governors, in the same vein, ‎urged PDP supporters to stay vigilant and ensure that all votes count. ‎
