Oyo displaces Lagos as Nigeria records 591 new Covid-19 Cases

Nigeria has recorded 591 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Friday bringing total number of reported cases to 39, 539.
The breakdown of the figures released by the NCDC on its verified Twitter handle shows Oyo displacing Lagos with 191 cases, while the later recorded 168 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each state on Friday July 24, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that 16, 559 persons have been discharge since February 27, when the first case was reported in the country. A total of 845 deaths have been recorded so far.
