Nigeria’s COVID-19 deaths exceed 1000, with 322 new infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 322 new COVID-19 infections in the country, even as the number of deaths as a result of the virus has exceeded 1000.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 52,227 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading with 130 cases, while Bauchi State trailed with 36 cases.
