Nigeria records 329 new Covid-19 cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 329 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 48, 445 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading the pack with 113 cases, while Kaduna State trailed with 49 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Friday, August 14, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 35, 998 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 973 deaths so far.
