Nigeria records 160 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 160 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded two additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 177 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows FCt and Plateau State recording 39 cases each, while Lagos state trailed with 30 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Saturday September 12, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 44, 088 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,078 deaths so far.
