Insecurity: Again, Buhari meets Govs, Security Chiefs

In continuation of efforts aimed at tackling the worsening security situation in parts of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari is about now meeting with members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

The meeting which is taking place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja also has security chiefs in attendance.

Also at the meeting are the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; and National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.).

State governors who are attending the meeting virtually include Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Douye Diri of Bayelsa; Babagana Zulum of Borno; David Umahi of Ebonyi; and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos.

They are representatives of the NGF.

Buhari had on Monday met with state governors from the North-East on the same issue.
