Property, goods and other valuables worth billions of naira were destroyed after fire gutted the Katsina Central Market in Katsina State on Monday.
Eye witnesses said the fire started around 8:30 am.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but it was gathered that no life was lost in the incident.
It was also gathered that fire fighters were still battling to put out the fire as of the time of filing this report.
