Several Passengers reportedly abducted on Benin-Auchi road on their way to Abuja

 

Suspected kidnappers, on Tuesday abducted an unspecified number of passengers again on the Benin- Auchi Road on their way to Abuja.
The victims were passengers of a popular transport company, Big Joe, which was conveying them to Abuja.
The incident happened between Ehor and Iruekpen, an axis that has become notorious in recent times with criminal elements operating with reckless abandon.
The gun-wielding suspected kidnappers were said to have emerged from the bush, shooting and forced the bus to come to a sudden halt before they swooped on the passengers.
According to eyewitnesses, several of the passengers “were forcefully taken into the bush‎.”
