Ondo Poll: Akeredolu leads as INEC releases results from 12 councils

 

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State is on course to retaining the gubernatorial seat of the state as results so far released showed him maintaining commanding lead over other candidates.

So far, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released results from 1w out of 18 Lical Government Areas.

While Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leads with wide margin, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede and the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi maintain second and third positions respectively.

It is expected that remaining results from.six local government areas will be announced possibly before noon on Sunday.
