Nigeria records 304 new Covid-19 cases

Nigeria has recorded 304 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Sunday bringing the total number of reported cases to 43, 841.

The breakdown of the figures released by the NCDC on its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State regaining the top spot with 81 cases, while the Federal Capital Territory trailed with 39 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each state on Sunday August 2, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that 20, 308 persons have been discharged, while a total of 888 deaths have been recorded so far.
