Nigeria records 156 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 156 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded three additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 54, 743 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading the pack with 36 cases, while FCT trailed with 35 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Friday September 4, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 42, 816 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,051 deaths so far.
