At the IASP (International Association of Science Parks) Inspiring Solutions Awards held in Beijing, China, Anambra’s Solution Innovation District (SID) was crowned one of the top three tech ecosystems in the world.
The award specifically recognizes the “1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe” initiative—a bold blueprint aimed at training 1,000,000 youths in high-end skills like AI, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering. To date, over 80,000 Ndi Anambra have already been trained, and the state has secured over $2 Million in ecosystem investments to fuel local startups.
The Vision: Ms. Chinwe Okoli, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Innovation, highlighted that this isn’t just about a trophy. The state is currently transforming the historic Old Government House into a 13.7-hectare “Silicon Valley” hub, featuring:

Tech-ready Residential and Office spaces.
With partnerships already locked in with global giants like Microsoft, Meta, and UNDP, Anambra is no longer just preparing for the future—it is exporting the talent that will build it.
