Barely 24-hours after she was rescued by Governor Nyesom Wike following an early morning siege at her Port-Harcourt residence, former Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joi Nunieh has appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC investigating the alleged sleaze at the Commission.

Nunieh who was billed to make physical appearance before the Committee on Thursday could not do that as a result of the invasion of her residence by the police.

However, she finally testified before the panel via Zoom from Rivers Government House where she’s presently taking refuge.

The embattled former NDDC boss in her presentation accused the Minister.of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio of contract scams and other corrupt practices in NDDC.
