Nigeria records 225 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 225 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 60, 655 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 165 cases each while FCT trailed with 17 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Tuesday October 13, 2020 are contained below:

Ogun-12
Niger-8
Delta-4
Ondo-2
Anambra-1
Edo-1
Ekiti-1
Kaduna-1

The release further showed that a total of 52, 006 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,116 deaths so far.
