Nigeria records 131 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 131 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded two additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 735 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 45 cases while Kaduna state trailed with 17 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Thursday September 17, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 48, 092 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,093 deaths so far.
