Activist, Aisha Yesufu, on Tuesday urged Nigerians who are protesting against police brutality to ‘retreat’.
The development followed loss of lives in different parts of the country in clashes between thugs and the protesters.
Yesufu, who is one of the prominent voices in the #EndSARS campaign, made the appeal in a message she posted on Twitter.
She tweeted, ”Dear Abuja #EndSars Protesters!
You guys are amazing! You still came out today inspite of yesterday’s numerous attacks on several fronts. I am in awe!
“You have done great. Time to withdraw today to return with full force
#WeMove!
#AbujaProtests
#EndSars
#EndPoliceBrutality.”
