A 40-year-old Pharmacist, Bassey Asuquo, died during a sex romp with a commercial sex worker in Lagos on Friday.
It was gathered that Bassey’s lifeless body was discovered in one of the rooms of a brothel along Akesan road, in the Egan area of Lagos.
Bassey was said to have arrived at the brothel around 10:00 pm the previous night, and moved into one of the rooms with a commercial sex worker after having some drinks.
His lifeless body was discovered in the morning.
It was further gathered that a packet of cigarette, an inhaler and a stained boxer were found in the room.
The unidentified commercial sex worker escaped before the operators of the brothel found out that Bassey had died.
However, sources a the brothel said the fleeing commercial sex worker contacted the manager on the phone.
According to the sources, the commercial sex workers said Bassey started gasping for breath and attempted to reach out for his inhaler before he died.
The commercial sex worker also claimed that she tried to revive the late Pharmacist.
The sources said the commercial sex worker informed the brothel manager that she was about to cross the border to a neighbouring country in a bid to evade arrest.
Meanwhile, two staff of the brothel were arrested by the police, while Bassey’s remains was evacuated.
