Nigeria records 354 new Covid-19 cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 354 new COVID-19 infections in the country. With the figure, the country has now recorded a total of 45, 244 cases so far.
A breakdown of the figure release by the NCDC via its verified twitter handle shows the Federal Capital Territory recording a total of 78 cases, while Lagos state followed closely with 76 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Thursday August 6, 2020 are contained below:

32,430 discharged
930 deaths

The release further showed that a total of 32, 430 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 930 deaths as a result of the pandemic.
