The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 164 new COVID-19 infections in the country.
With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 60, 430 cases so far.
The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 64 cases each while FCT trailed with 26 cases.
Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday October 12, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 51,943 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,115 deaths so far.
