Nigeria records 160 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 160 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 59, 287 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Rivers State recording 42 cases each while Lagos State trailed with 32 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Saturday October 3, 2020 are contained below:

Plateau-21
FCT-18
Kaduna-14
Ogun-11
Katsina-10
Kwara-3
Ondo-3
Imo-3
Anambra-1
Abia-1
Oyo-1

The release further showed that a total of 50, 718 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,113 deaths so far.
