Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has tested positive for coronarvirus ahead of a crucial their Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday.

New signing Thiago Alcantara tested positive for the virus last week and missed their two clashes with Arsenal.

And Jurgen Klopp’s side are now set to be without star attacker Mane on Sunday after he was confirmed as also testing positive.

The Senegal international is self-isolating and will be out of action for at least 10 days as a result.

With the international break coming up, he is likely to be back in time for the Merseyside derby on October 17.
