Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced the lifting of the curfew imposed on the state in the wake of the massive destruction of private and public properties by hoodlums who hijacked the #EndSARS protests in the state.

The governor in a press statement by the Lagos Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, on Saturday said the curfew has been lifted with immediate effect.

According to the statement, “The curfew imposed on Lagos State after the hijack of the peaceful #EndSARS protests has been lifted immediately. The 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. curfew imposed by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 remains.
