#EndSARS protester, Eromosele, granted N1m bail

‎A detained #EndSARS protester, Adene Eromosele, was on Tuesday granted bail by a Yaba Magistrates Court, Lagos, in the sum of N1m.

The magistrate ruled against an application filed by the policemen attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department seeking to remand Adene for an extra 30 days.‎

Eromosele’s lawyer, Tunde Jinadu, had asked the court to grant the protester bail on medical grounds.‎

The police had last week arrested Eromosele in Ikeja and taken him to the police command headquarters and then transferred him to the Area F Command before detaining him at the SCID, Panti.

Eromosele was flown to Abuja last Monday, where he detained for seven days before being brought back to Lagos on Sunday.

Thereafter, the police secretly approached a Magistrate, O.A Salau, without the consent of his lawyer and applied for a remand order to detain him for an extra 30 days.
